Notas: | Autor: Bedi, Davor Economic crimes as an omnipresent harmful phenomenon were the subject of numerous public debates in the Republic of Croatia, especially related to process of conversion and privatization during the nineties. These phenomena has been the subject of many talks and publications which as a result had the public impression how malversations which occurred during the process of conversion and privatization are the most important segment of economic crimes in Croatia. Maybe this is true, but it should be pointed out that economic crimes contain a wide range of criminal offenses, some of which are very harmful and highly represented. One of the most significant manifestations of economic crimes in recent Croatian history is economic fraud or fraud in economy as it is described in Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Croatia. |
