| Summary: | Introducción: la parálisis cerebral infantil hemipléjica espástica produce trastornos del movimiento y postura. La terapia por restricción-inducción del movimiento busca recuperar las funciones afectadas por hemiplejia. Objetivo: evaluar la mejora funcional del brazo afectado por hemiplejia espástica infantil tratada con terapia de restricción-inducción del movimiento, y sus consecuencias diarias. Material y métodos: Se realizaron las búsquedas en Pubmed, Pedro y Cochrane Library combinando las palabras clave con operadores booleanos AND/OR. Resultados: De los 189 artículos encontrados se seleccionaron 10 para el estudio. Conclusiones: Existe mejora de la funcionalidad, aunque no hay datos suficientes de sus consecuencias diarias. Abstract: Introduction: spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy of children produces movement and postural disorders. The constraint-induced movement therapy seeks to recover the functions affected by hemiplegia. Objective: to evaluate the functional improvement of the arm affected by pediatric spastic hemiplegia treated with constraint-induced movement therapy, and its daily consequences. Material and methods: we searched Pubmed, PEDro and Cochrane Library combining keywords with Boolean operators AND/OR. Results: Of the 189 articles found, 10 were selected for the study. Conclusions: There is an improvement in functionality, although there are not enough data of its daily consequences. |
