Sumario:Ten years ago, divers off the coast of Taiwan discovered that the Big Fin reef squid was attempting to spawn among old fishing nets and trash caused by typhoons and pollution in the area. They took matters into their own hands and devised an artificial spawning ground for the squid composed of bamboo, simulating the natural coral of the area where the squid used to lay their eggs. Called the delivery room the plan was successful and allowed the squid to procreate. Ke Chin-Yuan, a well-known filmmaker and environmentalist, explores this fascinating story of new life and possibility.
