Its stated aim is to show the public what, in practical terms, are the effects in the daily life of the Church of the many profound documents of the Second Vatican Council. This commentary also carries the extensively revised version of the English-language translation of the text of the Code of Canon Law (originally published in 1983) and incorporates the various developments and interpretations which have occurred since 1983. It therefore has the advantage of practical experience of working with the new Code. The contributors are all members of the Canon Law Society, selected for their personal expertise in Canon Law and practical experience in pastoral ministry. |
