Sumario: | Water is part of the world heritage, solemnly linked to the various inhabitants and components of planet Earth, and as such it should not remain monopolized and imprisoned by the intrigues of interest groups and avid investors. This article discusses the critical situation occurring in Africa and presents faces the urgent task of being able to give life to practical initiatives based on solid ethical principles. As Pope Francis states in the encyclical Laudato si’, “our world has a grave social debt towards the poor who lack access to drinking water, because they are denied the right to a life consistent with their inalienable dignity”. |
