Sumario:Svetlana Aleksievič, Nobel Prize winner for Literature in 2015, is an original writer. Journalist and historian, she has composed her books from hundreds of encounters with ordinary, often anonymous, people. It is through the selection and organization of their testimonies that she conveys her sense of empathy and her humanistic vision. Thus it allows us to enter in a privileged way into what has been called “the Russian soul” and, through this incarnation, to the heart of Russian destiny in a terrible century, to reach the universal and open our horizons.
