Sumario:This doctoral thesis by Marisol de la Caridad Suárez Rodríguez focuses on central fatigue in female judo athletes of the national team during their preparation phases. The study aims to understand the impact of training loads on the central nervous system and its effects on psychophysical assimilation. Conducted from 2008 to 2012, the research involves 30 athletes and uses both objective (cortical activation) and subjective (perception of fatigue) indicators measured before and after training loads. Results indicate significant increases in both indicators, with the most substantial cortical activation in the varied special mesosystem, while perception of fatigue increases towards the final preparation phase. This work contributes to sports psychology by offering insights into the physiological and psychological responses to training loads, aiding in optimizing athlete performance.
