Sumario:Create a FPS-style game for Virtual Reality using Unity's VRTK4. 'Doomstone Citadel' is set during World War II, you’ll step into the boots of a skilled allied Commando on a daring mission to infiltrate the infamous Doomstone Citadel and dismantle the terror war machine from within. We will start with an introduction to the VRTK framework and the advantages of using it over alternate SDKs for VR Development. You will then go on to setup the VRTK Framework and download the Unity Package provided. You will learn how to set up a camera rig, how to set up a tracked alias, how to set up interactable realistic hands and an interactable weapon. You will finally test out spatial movement within the VR environment and VR interactions with the weapon objects setup. This course is aimed at intermediate Unity developers who are well versed with the Unity Editor. Knowledge of how Unity Prefabs function and an understanding of how events work in general would be helpful. You will also need to know C# scripting for Unity and have access to a 6 DOF (degrees of freedom) headset, such as the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or the Oculus Quest with a link cable and a computer with appropriate graphics card that supports your VR Headset.
