Sumario: | The ESP Coordinating Center (ESP CC) is responding to a request from the VHA Performance Workgroup for an evidence brief on the accuracy of patient self-report for cervical and breast cancer screening. Findings from this evidence brief will help the VHA Performance Workgroup decide whether to continue the current practice of accepting patient self-reported data on cervical and/or breast cancer screening or require medical record documentation of prior screening, which is currently the standard for colorectal cancer screening. |
