Sumario: | In collaboration, Health Quality Ontario and CADTH completed a Health Technology Assessment on the use of iCBT in patients with MDD and anxiety disorders. Both organizations contributed to the Health Technology Assessment, which involved analyses of clinical, economic, social, implementation, and ethics evidence relevant to the policy question: Should Internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy be offered to people with major depressive disorder or anxiety disorders? Analyses of the multi-disciplinary evidence are reported separately, with separate reports detailing the research questions and methods used to assess different considerations. For its part, this report provides the results of three distinct yet complementary analyses performed by CADTH on (1) patients' perspectives and experiences with iCBT, (2) implementation issues, and (3) ethical considerations within the Canadian context and internationally. Reports assessing evidence of clinical and economic effects are published separately.
