Sumario: | Lauren doesn't feel like she's bullied at school; rather, she describes feeling completely invisible to the other students except for the instances where they are judging her. When she was younger, Lauren used to have friends but was also tormented by another girl in her class who would stare at her and threaten her to "watch her back." Lauren tried to join in with other kids but they would always follow the bully in making fun of Lauren. At the time, Lauren's teachers were oblivious to the harassment and Lauren worried that if she told anyone at school or at home, the teachers would blame her. During that period in her life, every time Lauren would get up to speak in front of the class, the other kids would put stuff on the floor so she would trip or would laugh at her when she spoke, instances that may have a bearing on her current problems. |
