Sumario: | The FEAST 2020 co-chairs are pleased to welcome all attendees to the 5th Annual Workshop on Forming an Ecosystem Around Software Transformation. Originally launched in 2016, FEAST has continued to serve as a premiere forum for presenting, discussing, and disseminating new ideas and approaches for reliably customizing software binary code without the aid of source code. This year's workshop continues FEAST's tradition of high quality cutting-edge research with the presentation of three keynote addresses (positioned from academic, industrial, and governmental perspectives, respectively), along with six original research papers on the topics of binary manipulation and disassembly, concurrency and exception handling, and feature isolation and exploitation. FEAST's mission is to share speculative and potentially paradigm-shifting new approaches to these difficult problems, and to discuss open challenges in the field. This year the workshop received 8 submitted research papers, each of which was independently reviewed by 3 members of the program committee. Of the 8 submissions, 6 papers received a majority of accept verdicts from the independent reviews, and were consequently accepted for publication.
