| Sumario: | Welcome to PLDI 2021, the 42nd ACM SIGPLAN Conference on Programming Language Design and Implementation. Since the continued COVID-19 pandemic made our original plan to host PLDI 2021 in Quebec City infeasible, we have followed in the footsteps of PLDI 2020 and made this year's conference a virtual event held June 20-25, 2021. PLDI is a premier forum for programming language research, broadly construed, including design, implementation, theory, applications, and performance. PLDI contains outstanding research that extends and/or applies programming-language concepts to advance the field of computing. Novel system designs, thorough empirical work, well-motivated theoretical results, and new application areas are all welcome emphases at PLDI. |
