Descripción
Sumario:Set dedicated to the Young Communists, youth organization of Chilean communism. Aspects of their culture, organization, political action, militancy are reviewed.
Despite the update experienced by recent Chilean political historiography, among the aspects that have still been weakly addressed are those linked to their youth structures. This book compiles general and fragmentary outlines about the history of the JJCC throughout the 20th century, from its primitive organizational actions in the nitrate nitrate; its various constituent avatars after the dictatorship of Ibáñez; his role in the processes of youth politicization during the years of the Popular Front; some approaches to the communist youth culture in the 60s and 70s; and certain outstanding elements of the jotosa performance in the field of the student struggles in the times of the University Reform, under the Dictatorship and during the Concertación governments. In the case of a story that does not want to endure but prosper, in the end some testimonial stories of jotosos that have remained in the organization (now, as party militants) or that were, having left after it are included.
