Die kontextuelle Auswertung der Fundkomplexe aus Grabungen, die im Bereich des unteren Embolos (Kuretenstraße) durchgeführt wurden, erbrachte Erkenntnisse zu rund tausend Jahren seiner Nutzung (3. Jh. v. Chr. – 7. Jh. n. Chr.). Sie betreffen die Gestaltung und die Trasse der Straße, die Baugeschichte ihrer Randbebauung und ihre wechselvolle Funktion. |
