Sumario: | As promoters of the scientific, humanistic and cultural development of humanity, universities have played an important role in the custody, care, research and preservation of cultural and natural goods of great social interest. But in addition, and within the universities are generated pieces, collections and cultural expressions that, over the years, come to acquire a heritage category. Our National University, and its more than one hundred years of existence, not only advises and themes of care and preservation of the heritage of our country, but has been entrusted with the study, protection and dissemination of buildings, murals, works of art, scientific instruments, specimens and natural spaces ..., of general interest. And his long life has also managed to form collections and museums of great academic and cultural interest. And UnaM museum trails realize the trajectory that our Maximum House of Studies has followed regarding its museums and some exhibition spaces. With a museological gaze, different moments, circumstances and actions are intertwined here, which currently highlight UNAM as a national and international museum promoter. More than a final opinion, this book is a starting point, which invites each space of preservation and exhibition to deepen what has been done and to strengthen professional collaborations for the benefit of our heritage and our museums.
