You will start by learning how to set up the template and toolbars, as well as the basic drawing tools, such as the line, rectangle and rotated rectangle, circle, and freehand tool. You will then jump into learning how to create different roof types. Dan will show you how to organize the model, create the second floor and additional openings, and import and edit textures. This video tutorial also covers how to create the ceiling, staircase, doors and windows, fireplace, and kitchen. You will learn how to use the 3D warehouse and add furniture, model furniture from a photograph, and create the exterior of the home.
