Sumario: | The journal focuses on all aspects of earth science: scientific, technical, managerial, economic, and social regimes on the local, regional, and global scales. Areas of interest include but are not necessarily restricted to geology, physical geography, geochemistry, geophysics, geo-biology, soil science, meteorology and climatology, environmental science and ecology as interacting components of earth science, and their related implications for policy and decision making. Contributions on important developments in global change, interactions between the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere, and innovative technologies including satellite remote sensing, carbon sequestration, etc. are also encouraged. In addition to research papers, the journal includes reviews, letters and special issues papers on key areas of technology.
