Descripción
Sumario:"Americanization / Westernization", "Europeanization" and "globalization" have been the preferred interpretative approaches for researching an ideal and material transfer as well as cultural, political and socio-economic processes of change and adjustment in the European, Atlantic and even global framework for some years - especially since the second World war. However, these undeniable transnational influences characterize diverse ambivalences, limitations and breaks, as is impressively demonstrated above all by the unbroken socially integrative power of nation and nation-state. The present anthology explores this tension.
