Descripción
Sumario:This book proposes to study Spiritism as a religious system, a system of beliefs and practices that is included in the larger picture of mediumistic religions. Based on the selection of specific groups, its central objective is to apprehend and discuss the categories and representations that constitute this religious experience and the cultural values related to it. In this perspective, the perception of the construction of the notion of person in Spiritism presents itself as a guiding thread and as a particularly enlightening clue to the experience of trance and mediumship in this religion.
