Sumario: | Susie, a college student, currently suffers from depression, which she feels is interfering with her sleep. Depression is also visible in her affect. At times, Susie’s mumbling at the end of her responses makes it difficult for her answers to be understood. Susie reports chronic poor sleep, often having to sleep on a couch, and that she is only sleeping one to three hours each night. She describes difficulty going to sleep and early waking with an inability to return to sleep, resulting in her not feeling refreshed. She takes SSRI medication for depression and claims they never impact her sleep. She reports that she tried medications to help her sleep in the past, to no avail. |
