Sumario:Jennifer recalls a particularly turbulent childhood beginning with her father leaving when she was around 4 years old. After her father left, her family was forced to move and faced continuous financial difficulties. She remembers her mother as always being sad, the house as quiet, and her life having a hole that she could not understand. Jennifer’s mother was someone who worried a lot, which caused Jennifer to worry about her mother. Later, Jennifer’s older brother, Jack, began abusing substances and compounding their family struggles. Currently, Jennifer finds it difficult to manage her life and realizes that it is affecting her relationship with her husband Jonathan. With these problems with her husband, she finds herself trapped in a cycle of worrying that feels like a return of her past trauma on her own children. No matter how hard she tries, Jennifer finds that she is immobilized by fear and that every decision will be the wrong decision.
