2274Publicado 2015“…La tesis consiste en la edición, crítica y anotada, del Digresionario poético, preceptiva poética y retórica en forma de diálogo humanístico escrita por un desconocido autor, el Licenciado Mesa del Olmeda, entre 1591 y 1592, contenida en el original de imprenta preparado para una publicación que nunca se produjo, que se conserva en la Bancroft Library (University of California), en Berkeley. La tesis analiza, con un estudio detallado de las fuentes disponibles, la posible identidad del autor, proponiendo como más probable la persona del maestro Sebastián de Mesa, cura en la Iglesia Magistral de los Santos Niños de Alcalá de Henares y antiguo alumno de la universidad complutense, donde sabemos que cursó sus estudios el autor del Digresionario. …”
