    “…Se incluyen 10 artículos obtenidos de las bases de datos PubMed, ScienceDirect, PEDro y EBSCO y se observa como el FES monocanal, únicamente sobre el tibial anterior, no obtiene efectos terapéuticos, al contrario que al aplicar el dispositivo sobre diferentes músculos implicados en la marcha o en combinación con otras terapias Abstract: In this review we propose the objective of studying the efficacy of functional electrical stimulation (FES) on the musculature innervated by the peroneal nerve for gait training, in foot drop patients who have suffered a cerebrovascular accident, in the chronic phase of the illness. 10 articles obtained from the PubMed, ScienceDirect, PEDro and EBSCO databases are included and it is observed that the single-channel FES, on the tibialis anterior, as a single therapy, does not produce therapeutic effects on the gait, unlike when applying the device about different muscles involve in walking or in combination with other therapies…”
