Description
Summary:This adventure documentary goes in search of the vanishing Bonobos apes, whose habitat is restricted to a small area of the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo, a country that is trying to return from the brink of annihilation. The human-like Bonobos, whose anatomy resembles that of “Lucy,” the most famous of the pre-humanoid hominids, walk more like humans than apes. Estimates now suggest that there are only 10,000 Bonobos in existence, the victims of a war that has devastated the Congo.
