Sumario: | Natalie starts the session visibly depressed and reports that she is feeling tired. The provider engages in a brief suicide screening with Natalie to further assess for suicide risk. She endorses having thoughts about killing herself as recently as the other night, which include overdosing on pills or driving off a bridge, but denies any suicide attempts. The provider assesses Natalie’s suicidal intent (i.e., the likelihood that she might kill herself) as well as risk for imminent suicide. Natalie reports low-to-moderate intent and denies being at imminent risk. The remainder of the clip involves the provider and Natalie collaboratively troubleshooting ways that she might increase the accessibility and use of her safety plan. |
