Description
Summary:Rebecca describes mixed feelings about her childhood. Despite not having close friends, she says people were generally nice to her. Her parents were not around much and she was regularly sent to stay with her aunt, who was not a nice person, and there were no other children around to socialize with. Those experiences were very lonely for Rebecca. Rebecca describes not receiving much attention from her mother, who was exhausted when she came home. Rebecca did enjoy time spent with her father until he left the family and started a different family. There was no sexual or physical abuse in Rebecca’s childhood.
