Summary: | SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 Art Gallery will showcase media artworks that embody artistic visions and creative applications of new media for aesthetic achievement. The Art Gallery program will present a curated exhibition to engage, challenge and entertain the conference audience, with media artworks. In response to the main conference theme CROSSOVER, two artefacts have been identified to stimulate the art gallery exhibition in 2018 as two interrelated organisms in a communication system, namely Candle TV (1975) by Nam June Paik and Mannbi (1981), a mask used in classical Japanese musical drama Noh, by Ayako Iwai. |
