| Sumario: | We are pleased to welcome you to the Eighth ACM International Symposium on Design and Analysis of Intelligent Vehicular Networks and Applications (DIVANet'18). This year, DIVANet takes place in Montreal, Canada, in conjunction with the 21st ACM International Conference on Modeling, Analysis and Simulations of Wireless and Mobile Systems (MSWiM'18), on October 28th to November 2nd, 2018. The Eighth ACM DIVANet'18 International Symposium aims to continue its successful track record of providing researchers and practitioners with a venue to disseminate and share stateof- the-art research and developments on vehicular networks, connected and autonomous cars, intelligent transportation systems, and wireless mobile ad hoc networking. Every paper submitted had been peer-reviewed by at least three referees from the Technical Program Committee. We have received a large number of papers and due to the time limitations, we could only accommodate twelve papers, which represent a 31% acceptance rate.
