A few months later2, Leibniz started writing "Monadologia" 3. The two texts are, therefore, contemporary and, therefore, usually edited together, which is justified: they correspond to the same phase of Leibniz's thought and, although they focus on the same problems from not always identical angles, they have a very literary form similar. None of the texts was published in Leibniz's life. |
