Description
Summary:The Gabonese forest includes several hundred species of trees. A handful are well known, many are far less so, and some are still anonymous. This guide takes you to discover 37 botanical families and 225 species, of which more than 140 are illustrated. It allows you to identify and learn more about them using simple diagrams and nearly 1,000 colour photographs of botanical details. For the more experienced, new data concerning ecology will consolidate their knowledge. The objective of this work is the sharing and popularization of knowledge, so that the agents of the administrations in charge of forests, just like the loggers or the local populations, can better understand and manage these useful species.
