Sumario:This article is based on the experience of the "Grands Sites de France Network". Grand Sites de France is a national association, which brings together elected local authorities responsible for both day-to-day action and long term evolution, conservation and presentation of cultural landscapes and other natural and cultural heritage sites, protected for their landscape value. The article shows it experiences in the field of sustainable tourism and local development of regions via sustainable management of heritage sites.
