Johannes Stadius. Johannes Stadius or Estadius (Dutch: ''Jan Van Ostaeyen''; French: ''Jean Stade'') (ca. 1 May 1527 – 17 June 1579), was a Flemish astronomer, astrologer, and mathematician.
