Avi Lewis

Avram David "Avi" Lewis (born May 1967) is a Canadian activist, documentary filmmaker, former host of the Al Jazeera English show ''Fault Lines'' and former host of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) current-affairs programs ''CounterSpin'' and ''On the Map''. He is currently an associate professor at the University of British Columbia.

Lewis was the NDP candidate for Vancouver Centre in the 2025 Canadian federal election and in West Vancouver—Sunshine Coast—Sea to Sky Country in the 2021 Canadian federal election. Provided by Wikipedia
