Terry Hershey

Terese ("Terry") Tarlton Hershey (19 January 1923 – 19 January 2017) was a conservationist and environmentalist. Hershey took part in the environmental movement in Texas, notably preventing the channelization of the Buffalo Bayou river in Houston. She has been called "the environmental godmother of Houston."
