Walter Hartmann
Walter Hartmann (23 July 1891 – 11 March 1977) was a German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords of Nazi Germany.During the evacuation of Crimea in 1944, he escaped on the Romanian minelayer ''Amiral Murgescu'' and reached the Romanian port of Constanța.
