Lidia Camacho

Lidia Camacho Camacho is a Mexican communication scientist, teacher, essayist, and public official. Her research has focused on the discipline of sound art.

In her work in the public sector, she has been the director of the cultural station Radio Educación (2000–2007) and the Festival Internacional Cervantino. She was a founder of the , and served as its director for two terms (2007–2009, 2013–2017). She was general director of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBA) from January 2017 to December 2018.
